The Sugary Skin - Handmade with love

Nothing beats indulging our body with great products that are natural, yet affordable. Lately, I was introduced to a brand of our very own Singapore based beauty care! 'The Sugary Skin' specialises in handmade sugar scrubs, and I am glad the sugar scrubs come in different variety.

 
The humble origins of The Sugary Skin all started when a girl was doing research and gathered vast information for sensitive skin. She chanced upon body scrubs and realized that sugar scrubs has many benefits for the skin, and suitable even for sensitive skin types.

 
Sugar is perfect for exfoliating skin, and is known to assist in healing acne and eczema. It also removes skin cells and helps the skin to look younger. Rubbing action also helps to boost blood circulation, and recommended usage is twice a week! Do remember to scrub only upwards!

 
The Sugary Skin uses sugar as raw exfoliant, and Glycolio Acid, which is usually found in sugar, helps to protect skin from harmful toxins! This will help make the skin grow healthier, as well as make the skin feel smoother.
 
There are 3 types of sugar that are used in the products of The Sugary Skin -:
 
Fine Sugar for Body Scrubs
Super Fine Sugar for Face Scrubs
Coarse Sugar for Legs Scrubs.
 
 
 
I love the Coffee Scrub for legs (SGD16.90 ; 170g) as it rejuvenates my skin and also reduces cellulite at same time. The caffeine in the coffee helps to stimulate the movement of water throughout the body, thus making skin appears firmer!
 
 
 
 
 The Green Tea Body Scrub (SGD16.90 ; 170g) smells wonderful. Green Tea is packed with powerful antioxidants and healing properties that protect our skin from harmful free radicals. It provides elasticity too!
