[random] A day out to Marina Bay Sands + Marina Square

Baby and I will normally spend some quality time together on the weekends. On a recent weekend, we went to the MBS Canton Paradise outlet for some Dim Sum for an afternoon tea. We love this eatery placee as it serves quality dim sum. Surprisingly, we still had to wait for about 15 minutes for our seats, even though it was already well past lunch, but too early for dinner!

We ordered some of our dim sum staples. Thanks Baby for the treat!

I took some pictures against DIOR's stunning and beautify Christmas Tree. The festive season is approaching!

Both S & I felt the Christmas spirit in the air as we stepped into a Christmas Wanderland with the Sanrio Characters at the Central Atrium of Marina Square. There were many life-sized photo opportunities of the Sanrio Characters’ Sculptures which were bound to be a hit on Instagram!

One of my favorite sculptures was Kuromi!

We had fun taking photos at the Picture-Perfect Magical WanderlandIt was a fun-filled day out with out with S. Let's do it more often!

We checked into a Hong Kong-Inspired Bakery Café - Victoria Bakery which is located at Marina Square.

The HK Egg Tart tasted pretty decent, and I love the flaky tart crust which complements well with the smooth egg fillings. It was similar to another iconic HK brand ; The 'Honolulu Cafe' in my opinion.

Another favorite of mine was the Baked Char Siew Bun, and the char siew filling had a nice balance of sweet and savoury taste! Although I think it can be improved by having a crunchier baked crust, and an even more moist char siew filling within.

We had fun shopping and taking photos in both Marina Square and Suntec City!

Thanks S for the lovely Christmas pressie! The Pooh teapot with transparent cup which looks like a globe was so cute but it was still a practical gift! Not to forget, thanks for the treat at the Victoria Bakery!

I am ending my post with Jae’s birthday celebration at Zaffron Kitchen which is located at East Coast Road. We had a delightful time together!

Lastly but not least, thanks for the gifts (mask sheets) from Vietnam as well as from Taiwan!
