[A series of events] A trip down to New Bahru - latest area in Singapore + Armani Prisma Glass Pop-Up + cresc by ASTALIFT Pop-Up

Baby and I headed down to the latest area in Singapore - New Bahru which was the former Nan Chiau High School for our weekend date. 




We had our afternoon tea at PPP Coffee, and we ordered a Ham & Cheese Croissant and a slice of Strawberry Cake! Never forget our favorite drink - Chai Latte! 



My 2 girlfriends came over to find me as we had reserved our slot for the Armani Prisma Glass Pop-Up which was also held at PPP Coffee @ New Bahru too! 



We were glad to be the first few to discover the new lip gloss by Armani Beauty. Upon registration, we were asked to complete our given quests via our handphones. 


What I loved the most about this pop up was the trippy, mirror-filled photo room.




We redeemed a small gift upon completion! Thanks Armani Beauty for the lovely goodies!

After the pop-up event, we were attracted to the Oatside Funside Playground, as it is labelled as Singapore’s tallest outdoor communal slide. It is recommended for children 6 years and above. Kids should be accompanied by supervising adults, especially on the slide. Nonetheless, adults are also welcome to 'try-try', just like me lolz!



The structure of the slide that was hidden away inside a humped structure that feels oddly nostalgic. We took some random photos before the premises! 



As Baby and Meryl’s hubby were joining us for dinner, we took Ryden’s car to meet them at our dinner venue - Woodlands Claypot Prawn which is located at Toa Payoh's Industrial area. Thanks Meryl for extended her tasting invite to all of us! 


We checked into a Ice Cream Parlour named 'Muted. Gelato' which is located along Lavender Street for some 'sweet nothings' before ending our night! 


I love Thai food, and when Linda suggested to have our dinner at Crazy Rich Thai Cafe which is the latest addition to the gastronomic scene at Orchard Paragon, I readily agreed. This eatery place serves a fusion of Thai-Western dishes and offers a distinctive dining experience


What’s super cute about this cafe is their 2D styled interior, which is similar to another place called the Cafe Monochrome. This cafe was also painted in a Tiffany Green color, adding to the quirky element. 



Crazy Rich Thai Cafe is a perfect hangout café for us in Singapore, but our dinner may perhaps fall into the ‘good, but not great’ category! 

Both Baby and I went to Chilli Padi to have our Peranakan fix on a random 'Fridate'. It is located at Joo Chiat - a great place to enjoy authentic Peranakan dishes. We enjoyed the Nyonya Chap Chye very much. It's one of the good ones among other places we've tried before. We had Bawang Kepiting, and I love the soup and meat balls were delicious too.

The damage was pretty reasonable, and we will definitely come back again to enjoy other Nonya specialities which Chilli Padi offers! 


Baby and I resumed our Sunday Dim Sum Brunch lately, and we went to Canton Paradise which is located at Marina Bay Sands (MBS). We love this eatery place as it serves quality dim sum. Seats were available immediately upon reaching the premise because they just opened for business. 


As usual, we started off with Boat Style Congee, and we loved their Cantonese styled Congee very much. The Chee Cheong Fun with Char Siew was one of our dim sum staples. The damage was pretty hefty, but thanks Baby for the brunch!


Thanks Baby for sending me to the LUXASIA Warehouse SALE 2024 Beauty Festival Bazaar which was held at Luxasia Singapore Office building - Tai Seng Street. 

I picked up 2 facial cleansers: MALIN+GOETZ's best-selling, foaming facial wash - Grapefruit Face Cleanser for only SGD20! The WISHFUL GET CLEAN Gentle Foaming Cleanser by HUDA BEAUTY was only SGD15! I also bought a WISHFUL GLOW TRIO Set (Holiday Limited Edition) which consisted of the Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub, Honey Whip Moisturiser and a Thirst Trap Juice Serum. This set cost me SGD15 too! 

I was so happy to pick up the best-selling #FauxFilter Matt foundation by HUDABEAUTY. I love the luminous finish that can cover uneven skin tones, hyperpigmentation and freckles. I only paid SGD30! OMG, it was a steal indeed! 


I was happy to get them at such affordable prices. Happy shopping ; Happy me!

We went down to the 'FUJIFILM Giving our world more smiles' Pop Up @ Plaza Singapura. At the premises, I was introduced to new skincare range - cresc by ASTALIFT. 

We played some games and won some skincare samples. 


At the event. I picked up the cresc by ASTALIFT introductory box which consisted of a deluxe sized Jelly Conditioner and Moisture Rich Milk, together with some sachets of Creamy Clear Foam and Smooth Fit Multi Shield! 


I was given some freebies with my purchase - Head & Wrist Band as well as a DIY Bouquet from the Floral Bar! 



Lastly, the most popular spot during that event, was The Selfie Booth! We waited about 20mins+ for our turn! Luckily, the photo turned up pretty good! 


I end my post with a small gift from Jurlique! Can’t wait to try the gift out, perhaps maybe on my forthcoming trip!
