[Japan Fall Vacation] 2D1N in Osaka with a day-trip to Nintendo Museum (Kyoto)

Image
The much-anticipated new Nintendo Museum in Kyoto , Japan opened in October 2024 and Baby balloted for the tickets prior to our trip. Luckily enough, we were chosen to be able to purchase the tickets online. All tickets were released as per a lottery draw system. There are no tickets on sale at the museum's premises, and security guards at the Nintendo Museum will check your ticket against your passport.  We made our way from Kinosaki Onsen to Kyoto to visit the museum. It is located in the small town of Uji which required us to take the local line from Kyoto station. Dinner at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant + Tipo Pasta Bar + Pancake & Waffle

We decided to have a crab feast for dinner at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant which is located at East Coast Park to end Baby’s birthday. We started off with a plate of yummy Satay, delicious clams (lala) and a bowl of dropped egg corn soup. Of course, the main dish was  Jumbo's Signature Chilli Crab , and we ordered some Fried Mantou  to go along with the delicious gravy. We had a delightful dinner, and Jumbo Seafood  is the perfect place for you if you have high expectations for fresh seafood! The damage was pleasant after a reduction of SGD100 (We has a Jumbo birthday voucher!) Recently, I brought Chewy and Rena to Tipo Pasta Bar which is located at Aliwal Street for dinner.  As we were led to our table, I was greeted by this cool setup of the day's pasta choices. They had these fancy names like   Mafalde, Fusilli  and  Campanelle . Their pastas are freshly made daily and infused with different ingredients, so that means that there will be dif...

The Krisflyer Fest returned for another year again at Jewel Changi Airport (L5 Cloud9 Piazza). Baby and I went there to clock our KrisFlyer Miles with our KrisFlyer MasterCard via using our Kris+ app !  Once we entered the premises, we were asked to scan a QR code to obtain a digital KrisFlyer Fest Passport instead of the traditional chop card! We collected all the required stamps by completing the activities to redeem a mystery gift! At the Pelago booth, we selected our dream destination and wrote down our details to enter the lucky draw to stand a chance to win a trip to our desired destination!  These are our dream destinations... We loved playing the mini games.... So  fun!   We purchased our snack & drinks via our  Kris+ app with our  KrisFlyer MasterCard   to enter the KrisFlyer Fest Mastercard Lucky Draw . We hope to win 250,000 miles, or some hotel stays… Finger crossed!  Argh! No fancy prizes, tough luck for us, we won notebooks ag...
