Recent Beauty Haul from Flower Knows + Labubu Mini Market Wonderland at VivoCity’s Sky Park

Image
Recently, I’ve found a new favorite makeup brand after a trip to Shenzhen back in March. I got some of their makeup items as I fell in love with their beautiful packaging. Flower Knows is a legitimate company based in China. It is also an animal cruelty-free brand.   I picked up a Flower Knows Highlighting Concealer from their Midsummer Fairytales Collection , and I totally love it. The formula added a nice glow to my skin after application. It provides a medium coverage. I also picked up the Solid Perfume - lychee Bouquet from the Strawberry Cupid Collection . It came with an adorable keychain packaging. It is compact and easy to carry around. The keychain can be detached, so you can use the keychain as an attachment or charm to any of your bags!   The balm is smooth, but I found that it was still quite dry even when it was warmed up with the touch of fingers. Overall, it has a very wearable scent! The scent doesn't really seem to be long-lasting, but I was fine ...

Immersive Experience by Hermès - The Silky Way + Ankle Boots Review

Image
Both my Baby and I visited The Silky Way, a captivating pop-up by Hermès at   the Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza .  Upon entering, we felt that it was like a dreamlike tour into the world of the iconic Hermès carrés . The immersive experience makes its debut in Singapore before travelling to other yet-to-be-announced cities. We were led to a soaring dome-shaped room, and the journey began with a 20-minute short film based on a selection of silk designs that craft a poetic narrative.  After leaving the Hermès exhibition, we settled our dinner at Canton Paradise which is located at Marina Bay Sands (MBS).   Our damage was pretty affordable all thanks to the SGD30 voucher we had to offset the total bill. I’ve always considered boots to be the quintessential travel shoes. They’re versatile and they also do a good job in protecting my feet. It doesn’t matter if I’m heading to Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Europe or USA, boots always have a spot on my packing list.  Of...

[product review] Mamonde Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask + AGE:ZERO Hyaluronic Calming Moisture Cream

Image
It's another review time for the latest two products I received! Without further ado, let me share with you the first product - Mamonde Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask . It is infused with real rose petals and nourishing floral water, and it delivers intense hydration and radiance in one luxurious step. As a daily user, the squeeze-type container makes it incredibly convenient. You can easily dispense just the right amount onto a cotton pad or simply apply it directly on the face. The gentle, hydrating liquid formula allows for worry-free daily use. I’m really impressed with this liquid mask! The 10% PHA formula is gentle yet effective, leaving my skin instantly smoother and more radiant without any irritation. It absorbs quickly, feels lightweight, and layers beautifully without stickiness. I love how it works as both a hydrating toner and a mild exfoliant, giving me that fresh, glowing look from the first use. The only downside for me was the scent, as it was kinda strong for me. Asi...

Weekend afternoon at Dempsey Hill

Image
The Heartware Store & Gallery is back with another delightful exhibition,  'Souvenirs', which is by the Dutch artist duo, We Are Out Office . They are known for turning familiar, everyday objects into colorful & fun collectibles Both Baby and I are art lovers, and upon entering the shophouse, we were greeted by a delightful fusion of colorful artworks and sculptures.  I do love their interactive artwork especially the gachapon machine .  Although we didn’t pick up any art-pieces from the gallery this time round, as the artworks weren’t our cup of tea, it was still a nice gallery overall! We also recently went to the Dom Pérignon x Takashi Murakami Pop-up at Maison Garden . I am a big fan of Takashi Murakami , and Baby loves champagne! Dom Pérignon is the apex brand amongst Champagne labels! It was a shame that the limited-edition Murakami bottles were all sold out when we visited the pop up!  Next, both baby and I attended Roku Gin ’s first ever pop up ev...
