Dim sum has always held a special place in my heart, especially whenever I am out for a meal with a group of friends!

On a random weekend, Baby and I visited Kimly Dim Sum at Eunos Crescent for breakfast and found out that it serves more than 30 types of dim sum items at its stalls.

We were excited to try out Kimly Dim Sum’s popular Bak Kwa Bao. Chef Loong created these charcoal Bak Kwa Bao with a special homemade recipe. He uses the meticulous barbecuing method on premium air-flown Brazilian pork from Peng Guan Bak Kwa, which was featured in the Michelin Guide.

The meat filling was tender and slightly sweet. I could taste the charred taste of bak kwa. I loved how it went so well with the fluffy charcoal bun.

Apart from buns, Kimly Dim Sum also offers an array of other dim sums, such as Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun which comes with either char siew or prawn filling.

We chose the ones with Char Siew, and I really loved how soft the silky-smooth rice rolls were. What I really loved most was the topping of good amounts of fried shallots, which gave everyy mouthful a nice crunch.

We also ordered the Century Egg Pork Porridge and was smooth and thick. It was a comforting dish that is sure to be loved by many!

Fried dim sum is always a huge hit for me too! Apart from the Fried dim sum, we also ordered the steamed types too!

Kimly Dim Sum serves up affordable dim sum at super wallet friendly prices. It’s a great meal no matter the day, time or occasion, and certainly more fantastic if you get to share this table of yummy goodness with friends or family.

We tried the Hey! Teppan Angus Sirloin Steak, and it comes with vegetables, as well as a separate side for mashed potatoes and a bowl of rice.

The meat cuts on the sizzling plate were well seasoned and tasted awesomely good.

I loved how flavorful the rice was when I added in the Garlic Soy Sauce which I took from the counter as well as some chilli flakes to give it a kick!
