Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant

Image
We had a pretty late dinner after the Tsumori Chisato Cocktail Party... And we settled down @ Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant... This is my second time patronizing to this eatery place... Both of us were watching our diet... Hence we had a light dinner then.We ordered Seafood & Beancurd Soup to go along with a bowl of white rice for Baby... The soup taste GREAT! I love the Stewed Noodles with Egg Plant and Minced Pork very much... Taste uber delicious... I want more next time! It has been listed under my must-order dish each time when I visit Jade Palace Seafood. We were both satisfied with the food... Most of all, the service is good and I feel comfortable when dining there... The damage was SGD42.96. It is pretty pricey meal for 2, but the food made up for it! Situated at the basement of Forum Shopping Centre... The decor-wise is nothing to shout about... The interior is pretty traditional and unpretentious. They serve pretty good Dim Sum in the day and the prices are decent too.....

I won a pair of tickets to Let the Bullets Fly from Omy Dot Sg... As usual, Baby & I went for the preview screening... Met up Lynn & Louie @ GV Plaza as they were going for the movie preview too... --- Posters Let the Bullets Fly --- 'Let the Bullets Fly' is a 2010 Chinese-Hong Kong co-production action comedy film written and directed by Jiang Wen, based on a story by Ma Shitu, a famous Sichuanese writer. 'Let the Bullets Fly' is about a gang of bandits from western China in the early 20th century and contains elements of suspense and black humor. Set in China during the warring 1920s, the bandit Zhang Ma Zi aka Pocky Zhang (played by Jiang Wen) enters the remote Goose Town pretending to be their newly installed governor. Zhang is accompanied by Tang (starring Ge You). Zhang's aim at this position is opposed by local mobster Huang (played by Chow Yun Fatt) who lives in his fortified citadel overlooking the town. While Tang is aware of Huang's previou...

Swee Choon Dim Sum

Image
Been to Swee Choon for Dim Sum brekkie a couple of times since last year... There's a wide variety of rustic Dim Sum cuisine with decent portions and prices. We ordered quite no. of items... for our brekkie. Siew Mai - 5.5/10 Very meaty with some prawns inside. I find it acceptable. Pan fried Carrot Cake - 7/10 The texture is great. The taste is good too... 2 big slices for every order, pretty filling for us! Century Egg Porridge - 6.5/10 Small portion, but still pretty okay if you are craving for it. My favourite - Lor Mai Kai (Chicken Glutinous Rice) - The meat is well marinated & The Rice Roll (Chee Cheong Fun)... I love the sweet sauce loads! The staffs are still attentive and fast despite of the crowd. Overall, the food quality has been consistently good, made on the spot and fresh. Swee Choon is an awesome eatery place for Dim Sum and definitely worth a visit and value for money!

Park Jung Min Music Showcase @ Dragonfly

Image
Headed straight down to Dragonfly to attend the Park Jung Min Music Showcase... Tickets were provided courtesy of Radio 1003... I invited Linda to join me to this showcase, but both of us were late by 35mins... Luckily Radio 1003 was kind enough to leave the tickets at the merchandising booth outside Dragonfly for us to pick up for the admission to the music showcase... Park Jung Min was born on April 3, 1987 and is a member of the south Korean group SS501. His first solo album, 'Not Alone', was originally supposed to be released on 25 November 2010, but due to North Korea attacking South Korea, the album was postponed until 20 January 2011. Pretty crowded in the house. We can't really get a good spot due to our lateness, but oh well, we still enjoyed ourselves there. The atmosphere was great! Upon seeing seeing heart-throb idol - Park Jung Min, all the girls in the house screamed... His songs are pretty catchy! He is really Eye-Candy lolz... Haha! We had a great time t...
