Itadakimasu! Solo Exhibition by maitoparta

On National Day, RKM joined Meryl and her hubby to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at Marina Barrage for an interactive gallery tour. The exhibition provided an overview of Singapore's sustainable development.

I took a photo against my favorite zone - future tense, and this marks the last zone of the Sustainable Singapore Gallery.

After the tour, we collected our appreciation gift from the Marina Barrage, and the small token included a 20% off to purchase tea bombs from the Tea Therapy.

We picked up a sampler tube which consisted of 9 different tea flavors, and we paid SGD16 after the discount. The main agenda for us on buying them is because the tea leaves are caffeine free, unsweetened and they are all 100% natural. Not to forget, we were given 2 mini glasses from Tea Therapy as free gifts!

The Kakee Convoy made a pit stop at Marina Barrage to celebrate SG60. We had a fun-filled afternoon. We received the tote bag, a sticker set and a dining voucher after playing a simple game! Simple task, great rewards, so why not join in the fun!

Before leaving the premises, we picked up our NDP Packs. We received the ‘Multiculturalism' and 'Boldness' design! There are in total, 7 beautiful and meaningful designs of the bags, and our hearts are leading towards the ‘Boldness’.

Happy Birthday, Singapore ❤️ Majulah Singapura

Savor a feast for the senses at ‘Itadakimasu!’ - debut solo exhibition in Singapore. It is more than just an art exhibition, as it is a celebration of the simple pleasures of eating by Japanese artist maitoparta.

I was glad that I visited the ‘Itadakimasu! Solo Exhibition by maitoparta!’. It was held at the Heartware Store & Gallery, a cosy new art space at Joo Chiat. Both Baby and I are art lovers, and upon entering the shophouse, we were greeted by a delightful fusion of colorful paintings, posters, wooden sculptures, and lots of merch that were created especially for the exhibition.

It is a playful tribute to Japan’s Food Culture. Check out the main show-stopper – A Giant Ikura Gachapon Sushi that was displayed in the middle of the room.

We picked up some art-pieces from the gallery and we were happy to add these great additions to our humble home.

I end my post with a photo of my novelty Campbell Soup Bag. Thanks Baby for getting for me!
