Random happenings in December

Christmas has been my favorite festive holiday since young, and I love shopping for gifts for my friends, colleagues and for my favorite person in life.

Baby and I went to Jewel Changi Airport and I took photos against the beautiful Christmas decoration displays! 

We chanced upon EVA Air's pop-up event, and we joined in the fun as they offered interactive experiences like a memory game, 360° photo booth, and stamp collection to win prizes, including flights to Taipei, Sony headphones, and exclusive EVA merchandise.

After my last visit with Baby to Ume San 100, I fell in love with the food and vibes offered at the Speakeasy. I decided to introduce this food gem to my 2 closest friends. I revisited this eatery place with them on a random Thursday evening for a mini X'mas gathering cum Gifts Exchange dinner after our work.


Japanese Vending Machines is the entrance of Ume San 100, and it is located at an unlikely place, Fortune Centre. We met up one another where this Izakaya is located.

We started off on our meal by sharing Uni Croquettes and Mentaiko Gyoza. We ordered a main course each for ourselves. I am glad that my friends liked this eatery place which I had recommended. The food was tasty. I will definitely come back again!

We ended our gathering with some traditional desserts at Yat Ka Yan Dessert which is literately located beside Ume San 100. 


My Fri-date dinner with my Baby after work! He suggested to re-visited ‘Lao Wei Dao Sha Guo Bao’ which located at Bugis Street. We fell in love with the generous food portion served at this Chinese eatery place. 

We ordered one portion of Fish with Pickled Greens, one portion of Vermicelli with Shrimp and with 2 sets of Skewers. 




The white rice will be free-flow after one-time order. The food was delicious and the damage was affordable too! 


I met up with Sweetie for dinner to do our mini  X’mas gift exchange at Gin Khao which is located at One Raffles Place. The portion is good and service is fast too. The food tasted pretty decent too. Worth trying again!
