Food for life for RKM
The owner of Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice Eating House is retiring in June, and this could possibility be the last time I had the famous Teochew Boneless Duck. I am gonna miss it for real. *sad*
Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice Eating House is located along South Buona Vista Road, and it is very popular among the locals and the expats too... The price is rather at the high side, but oh well, sometimes we have to pay for quality, but do note that the portion is outrageously small...
We ordered the Braised Duck Meat for 2 and a plate of Tofu...
The duck meat was finely sliced and covered with a thick and sticky gravy (Lu zhi) which tasted awesome. I enjoyed eating the non-greasy boneless duck meat very much
The smooth tofu was mashed up when served, but is
pretty healthy as little oil was used. The damage was SGD17, and do visit them before
they are close for good...
We were given 15% on food
& beverage with S.E.A Aquarium after purchasing 2 standard adult tickets for
admission... After our viewing at the aquarium, we headed down to have our late
lunch at Fish & Crab Shack. We had Black Pepper Chicken and Fish &
Chips, all I can say that the serving was pretty decent. The damage was
comfortable for the pockets too.
We went to Cze Char fare on
a random weekend around Telok Blangah area... We settled at TLB 65 Eating House
as there is one popular Cze Char stall that serve delicious Cze Char
dishes...
To celebrate our belated monthsary, we
decided to have our dinner at Earle Swensen's. We went to the outlet at Changi
Airport Terminal 3. The restaurant bears a casual chic setting, and
Earle Swensen's offers an extensive food menu featuring specialty seafood and
steak grills, which come with a complimentary full-spread of salad bar.
Baby had Black Pepper Chicken with Wild Rice
while I had Cajun Chicken with Mashed Potato. The damage was SGD 46-ish. I love
the quiet ambiance while dining in, and this place does make a perfect haunt to
hang out with friends or small gatherings...
