[pictorial post] POP TOY SHOW 2025
The Pop Toy Show was back for its third edition in Singapore, and this year, beloved character Hirono took the centre stage. We had gone to last year’s edition, and we decided to attend the show this year too. It has never failed to showcase the latest and newest premium Pop toys to all avid fans in Singapore.
I am a big fan of the OPanDee Zombie series, and the reason I attended the show was to get the chance to purchase the exclusive 'Zombie Party 200% Get Rich'. We went in the morning, and upon entering the event hall. I started to look for the Chinamoetown booth. We quickly found the booth but the queue was pretty disorganized. We were told not to wait/queue outside the booth by the security.
The nightmare only started when the security changed the waiting line to another location. Many people who came super early could not get into the new line, and a commotion began - people kept pushing and rushing into the new line. I decided to leave the line with Baby's insistence, as he said he would queue on my behalf. It was lucky I did so as the security came in and stopped people from entering the waiting line forcefully. Fortunately, Baby got into the line and received his wrist from the organizer, and this guaranteed the purchase of the Exclusive 200% Get Rich Toy! Yay! I was so happy to hear that!
We also picked up a full set - OPanDee Lucky Zombie Party (Thirteen Orphans Series).
I got some freebies from some various booths by following their IG accounts!
The POP TOY SHOW 2025 is
a good treat for all toy fans/collectors as it is definitely a golden
opportunity to purchase exclusive Limited-Edition Collectibles, as well as to
meet 'n' greet the creators/designers.
On a random weekend in the month August, Meryl and I attended the SG60 event organized by Heartbeat @ Bedok X Bedok Mall. During the event, we did some fun-filled activities such as Pouch Painting and making a Glass Marble Magnet.
We got a chance to take part a complimentary gashapon spin with at least one activity completed. I won an eCapitaVoucher of $3 which required it to be stored in the e-wallet under the CapitaStar App.
